I did a quick study of a photography of a seaweave for a current commission and focused on values, shapes and intelligent use of brushes for economy.
I think most of the notes already explain everything. It's mostly a reminder of which brushes, shapes and values work well.
For the larger waveshapes I worked on an adjusted curves layer. For the froth I used screen/overlay and for the smudged froth shadows I used a darken layer.
